Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, was not impressed with Chelsea emerging champions at the 2025 Club World Cup, comparing the games to preseason fixtures.
According to Mourinho, Paris Saint-Germain were the “big winners” last season, for not only winning Ligue 1 but also lifting the Champions League.
The Blues stunned PSG 3-0 in the final of the tournament played earlier this month.
Before getting to the final, Enzo Maresca’s team eliminated Benfica, Palmeiras and Fluminense.
“The run to the semi-finals reminded me every time I went to the United States for pre-season with Real Madrid and Inter, it reminded me a little of those games we played there.
“So, I think this Club World Cup title is only important for Chelsea, as they’ll sell a lot of jerseys with the logo on there.”
