The Kano state Police command have successfully apprehended nine suspected motorcycle thieves as part of its newly launched operation Kukan Kura.
Two people who attempted to buy the stolen motorcycles were also apprehended.
This was revealed by the spokesperson of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa in a short post on his official Facebook page.
“#KukanKura: AKS Operation Kukan Kura Police have arrested 9 suspected motorcycle thieves and 2 buyers. 8 motorcycles were recovered from their possession,” he wrote.
SP Kiyawa assured that more details regarding the arrest will be released to the public soon.
