Raphael Onyedika was in action as Club Brugge defeated Union Saint-Gilloise 2–1 to win the Belgian Super Cup on Sunday night.

It was the 18th time Club Brugge would win the Super Cup, the most by any club in Belgium.

Onyedika featured for the entire duration of the match.

It was sweet revenge for the Club Brugge side, who had lost by the same scoreline to Union Saint-Gilloise in the Super Cup last season.

Franjo Ivanović gave Union Saint-Gilloise the lead after 15 minutes.

Club Brugge rallied to win the game through a Christos Tzolis penalty and a superb strike by Hans Vanaken.

Onyedika has been linked with a move away from Club Brugge, with Turkish Süper Lig side Fenerbahçe already in talks with the Belgian Pro League outfit.
