Manchester City’s Ederson will become Galatasaray’s new goalkeeper after the Turkish champions complete the permanent signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
This was disclosed by respected Galatasaray reporter Yakup Çınar.
Galatasaray and Napoli have both agreed on bank guarantees and payment plans for Osimhen’s permanent transfer to the Turkish giants this summer.
Galatasaray will pay the Serie A champions Osimhen’s €75m release clause in two instalments – €40m now and €35m within one year.
Speaking on the development on the Yeni Açık YouTube channel, Çınar said (via habersarikirmizi): “After the Osimhen transfer, I expect Galatasaray to announce the Ederson transfer as well.
“I most likely expect Ederson to be Galatasaray’s new goalkeeper.
“Gardi is conducting the talks with Ederson. There’s a €25 million offer for the player from Saudi Arabia.
“The Brazilian likes to live with his family, so he doesn’t want to go to Saudi Arabia too much.
“His initial expectation from Galatasaray was €15 million. It’s now down to €10 million.
“It’s now down to €10 million. Galatasaray is trying to reduce this amount to around €7-8 million.
“They’re currently the top choice for goalkeeper transfers. Both Okan Buruk and President Dursun want this transfer to happen.”
