Alvaro Morata is set to leave Galatasaray for Como, after the Turkish champions finally agreed a deal to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli on a permanent basis.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Morata’s exit has been held delayed for over a month by negotiations for Osimhen.
Galatasaray, over the past weekend, ironed out the finer details of the transfer for the Super Eagles star.
Romano wrote on X: “Álvaro Morata, now set to join Como from Galatasaray as soon as all documents for Osimhen deal will be signed next week.
“Morata has been waiting for Como for one month… and now, all set.”
Como and Morata have since struck an agreement over personal terms.
The Spain striker will now return to Serie A, where he has previously played for AC Milan.
