Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu has reflected on his side’s big win over the Copper Queens of Zambia.
Nigeria thrashed the Copper Queens 5-0 in their quarter-final contest in Casablanca on Friday night.
Madugu’s side dominated the game from start to finish, while Zambia failed to manage a shot on target.
The Super Falcons struggled during the group stage despite qualifying as Group B winners.
Nigeria scored four goals in their three group games.
Madugu said discovering, and working on his team’s weaknesses contributed to the victory.
“We said it before: it’s a work in progress.
“We kept identifying our weaknesses — service delivery, final passes, and finishing and we worked on them. Today, we saw the results,” he noted.
